The Cambridge English Scholastic Programme is a two-week programme that will introduce the language of English to students (aged 16 - 25) and working adults from Asia. The Cambridge ESP will set the stage for students not only to learn English but also to enrich their student experience in one of the most prestigious learning institution in the world.
The green lawns and towering trees of Cambridge is the ideal background for study and reflection. ESP courses meet in or near the University buildings, libraries, museums, and athletic facilities within easy walking distance of residences and classrooms.
The programme will be taught by members of the university. Out-of-class activities will also be organised and supervised by undergraduates and post-graduates of the university.
Apart from class-based education, students’ education experiences will be further enriched through field trips to London and other parts of the UK including Stonehenge, London National Gallery, Tate Modern, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, British Museum, Natural History Museum and the historical city of Bath.
Students will live together in Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge. All academic and non-academic activities, both in Cambridge and during excursions out of Cambridge will be fully supervised by the organisers.
