Krishna Ramachandra, a practising corporate lawyer in an international law firm (formerly from Freshfields London), will chair this seminar workshop. Krishna received his Master of Laws from Christ’s College, Cambridge and is both qualified in England and Singapore. He has considerable experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance generally in conjunction with a number of international Stock Exchanges. He has also acted on a wide variety of transactions including takeovers, equity offerings, rights issues and joint ventures. Much of his work has been of an international cross-border nature.

Hans Tjio B.A. (Cantab), LL.M (Harvard), Barrister (MT)
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore
Hans has degrees from Cambridge and Harvard, and lectures in securities regulation, company law, commercial and contract law, trust and equity. He has published in international journals such as Law Quarterly Review, Lloyd’s Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly and Journal of Business Law.
In various stints during his career, Hans has also been seconded to the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Ministry of Law. He was a member of the Ministry of Finance’s Company Legislation and Regulatory Framework Committee, and is currently a consultant to Wong Partnership’s Banking, Finance & Corporate Practice Group.
