Application Information

We accept applications from students who have already completed their A-Level Examinations (or equivalent) by January 2004 and are intending to apply for undergraduate scholarships (both local and overseas). We expect to have much more applicants than there are places in the Programme (currently fixed at 32). Therefore, we urge you to apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Applications on the STP fill on a strict first-come, first-served basis.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Download an application from this website here (requires Acrobat Reader).

2. Fill the application form by either printing or typing it and prepare a cheque of S$800 made payable to ‘Cambridge Alliance Centre’. (Note: If all places on the STP have been filled up and we are unable to accommodate you, we will forthwith return the cheque to you.)

3. Include the latest examination result slip from your school.

4. On a separate sheet, type a Personal Statement 1-2 pages in length, SINGLE SPACED, about why you are applying to the STP and which course you intend to pursue at tertiary level and why you have chosen it.

NOTE: The contents of your personal statement will not affect your application for the STP. They are used as brief notes to provide background continuity for the Personal Analysis Module and will be treated as confidential information. Cambridge Alliance Centre (“CAC”) works under the terms of the UK Data Protection Act. Information about you will not be passed to anyone outside the CAC without your prior agreement.

5. Send the completed application form with the relevant materials and cheque to the following address: -

6. Once you have been accepted on the STP, we will send you a confirmation letter together with your Group Number and your personalised timetable (only for the Interview Skills and Writing Skills Module). The Group Timetable corresponds with your Group Numbers
